  • Belive them
  • Listen without judgment
  • Be supportive and patient
  • Avoid questions that imply blame
  • Ask how you can help
  • Remind them that the assault is not their fault
  • Empower them and help them regain control by letting them decide what to do

Sexual Assault is NEVER a survivor's fault.
