Assaults involving the IUPUI community should be reported to:
Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO)
Assaults may be reported to the police without filing formal charges. You can decide if you want to file charges after the report is made.
If you’ve been sexually assaulted some time ago:
1. You may just now be realizing that you still have options available to you.
2. Medical attention may still be needed for treatment of physical symptoms.
3. Consider seeking counseling. Unresolved experiences of sexual assault can have long‐term psychological and social effects.
4. Consult with a sexual assault center or counseling center to explore the following:
a. Reporting the incident to the police
b. Pursuing campus judicial intervention
c. Pursuing academic or administrative intervention
d. Obtaining medical care
e. Attending to your emotional well-being
KNOW THAT IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO CALL OR SEEK HELP.
